Well let me just say that things have been a little busy....the Saturday after Kiley graduated Tarin's van decided it was time for a new transmission!!! So here we were in Salt Lake City at the Honda dealership with three babes waiting for the news...it was not good $2800.00. We both felt like we were hit in the stomach. After some deliberation and many phone calls we decided to wait for the van to be fixed... 6 days later and 6 hotel nights later we were on our way home again with Tarin sick from the flu. It was a long week!
The good news is Kiley got engaged the weekend after her graduation. We are so excited to have Ryan Merrill become a part of our family, and we look forward to the upcoming wedding. So now we are in full wedding planning mode as well as getting Matthew ready for his mission and waiting for Ashley to come home from her mission. Matthew enters the MTC on July 8th and Ashley returns home July 9th. We will pick Ash up from the Salt Lake City airport at 10:04 am and then take her to the MTC where she will have about 20 minutes to see her brother! We then drive home so she can be released at 1:00 pm on Friday. Kiley will leave for Minnesota at 4:00 pm on Friday also. I love my life and all the exciting things that are happening if I died tomorrow I would one happy mama!

THE GRADUATION!!!
We began our trip at 9:00 am all happy and excited to go on "THE TRIP" T was our designated driver, I was the photogragher/climb into the back seat for the things that dropped Gma. I showed my backside to more drivers than I really cared to.
This was one of our many stops, we stopped at State line so the babes could run around, shop and eat. When Caidence was asked if she wanted to eat first or shop, she said shop! Thats my girl! Nicolas decided he liked to dance and watch himself in the mirror.
Finally nap time, I guess Caidence didn't like the sun...
Another one of our stops was in St. Geoge for dinner we found a park, met my mom and brother ate and then played.
Ready to get to on the road again...
We stopped for more potty breaks than I thought possible, some were successful and some were lets just say we almost had to find a bush. Gma was the designated potty breaker.

We were in and out and soon back on the road!

We finally made it to the hotel, this was the longest drive I have ever taken. The kids were great but they were ready to get out of their seats!
Happy to stop moving!
The babes found ways to entertain themselves...Wednesday, April 22, 2009
Love you babe!

My daughter Ashley will coming home from her mission on July 9th one day after her brother Matthew goes into the MTC to begin his mission. I have been talking with Salt Lake, and Sis. Moore from the Cleveland, Ohio mission working out her travel arrangements to home. There was a problem as they were going to fly her into Bakersfield but because there are only a few flights Ashley would have a 9 hour layover in Denver. Soooo....we became creative and Ashley will now fly into Salt Lake. We will be able to drive her to the MTC and she will have 20-30 minutes to visit with her brother. Which I think is a wonderful gift since they will not spent any time together for 3 1/2 years by the time Matthew comes home from his mission. This is just one way the Lord shows love for me, I am sending out my son and he gives me back my daughter...what a tender mercy. For those who have sent missionaries out, you know and understand my feelings. So on July 9th there will be a gathering at the Salt Lake airport about 10:15 in termal 2!

Happy Birthday Kiley....
Today is Kiley's 24th birthday!!!
Twenty Four years ago today...Roby was graduating it was April 19, 1985. On April 20th our daughter Kiley was born. She weighed in at 8 lbs 14 oz, Tarin her sister was so happy to have a sister. I have fond memories of Kiley as a child she loved to laugh and smile and quickly gained the nickname smiley Kiley. She will graduate at the end of the week and be a big girl! I don't know how I feel about that, on one hand I am so pleased that she has accomplished so much on the other hand I am sad...for me...not her! I am excited for her as she has so much ahead of her, she is so capable and ready to move forward, soooo I will do all that I can to support her and push her if necessary. (That must be how a mother bird feels when she pushes her little babies out of the nest.) Here is a brief walk down memory lane. Ok the memory is backward, remember I am still in the learning phase of this blog.

Our son Matthew Aaron Hunt will soon be Elder Hunt serving in the Salt Lake City, Utah Mission! He enters the MTC on July 8, 2009. We are so proud of him and his desire to serve the Lord and those who live within the boundries of his mission. We have confidence in his abilities to serve and to preach and teach the Lord's gospel and bring truth to those who will listen. I love you son!

A Tribute to Matthew
A Haines Family Trip.
For some reason, I still do not understand this is going in the wrong direction so start from the bottom and read up and you will better understand the trip. I could have added so much more but I am frustrated. I will try again and I hope it goes better. But needless to say we had a great time and loved being together. Go Cody we look forward to seeing you in July!
As we prepared to travel home we were worn out and still full of fun and spunk. My sister likes to show her spunkiness.
The day after graduation we went to a place I like to call Precious Momentsville. My mother Nancy loves precious moments and has collected them for years. So off we went, mom had a smile on her that lit up the room. We went to the Chapel where there were murals, stained glass and a room dedicated to Sam Butcher's son who died in his early 40's
. The Chapel is beautiful and and you can sense Sam's love of life and people.
The Fam after graduation, Cody is relieved he can now put on some civis and relax for oh about 48 hours, he left for Germany 2 days after he graduated!
Cody is such a handsome man...this just after he walked and recieved his pin. We are so proud of him and his desire to serve and protect our country. There are many good men serving our country and we need to thank the Lord for their service and remember to pray for them and their families.
Ok so I forgot to rotate the picture before I added it...remember I am still learning....The purpose of the trip was to see my Nephew Cody gradutae from Army Bootcamp. Jan was so excited to see Cody.
This picture is suppose to be down further. I am still learning how to do this....HELP KILEY...HELP TARIN....
Nancy the leader of the pack arranged for the trip it was the first time our family has gone anywhere together. I must say the trip was an adventure and one that I will remember. I played the role of photographer and party planner.
My Brother Kim or Uncle Bubba to those who know and love him went also, he was a tropper 3 women and 1 man, he deserves major props.
The picture is above.
Our first night we stayed in Branson, Mo and of course went to a show...Dolly Pardon's Stampeed Round-up dinner show. The show was great with beautiful horses and great stunts. The food was amazing and guess what no forks, spoons or knives...we ate with our fingers good but messy.
