Lessons From Mamacita

I have been pondering mistakes over the past week, there are many different types of mistakes with vary degrees of severity. You can make the common mistake of forgetting ones name or the grevious mistake of running a red light ( which by the way can be expensive). Some mistakes can be costly while others just reek havic with your emotions. The important thing is to recognize the mistake for what it is and own up to the problem. Don't justify or make excuses or the worst blame someone else for your mistake. When we own up to the misdeed we become empowered to do the right thing and make ammends. That is when your true character comes out and integrity shines. So go forward and be honest with yourself, you will find greater courage and strength as you do so.

Situation to ponder....You go shopping and when you get home you discover that the store did not charge you for a 50 cent candy bar, what do you do?

Ahh the Week of Love

I must say as a child valentines day did not hold a lot of magic for me. As a young adult there was magic to a small degree, it wasn't until I met the man of my dreams that the mystery of the day became apparent. I am fortunate to have a husband who is a kind, loving man. One who puts others first and strives to make those around him happy. As our family has grown so has our love it is deeper and stronger and for that I am grateful!

As I reflect on my children and the great strengths they have I am in awe...Tarin is a beautiful mother of three! She is such an example of courage, strength and resourcefulness. She works hard everyday to raise her children in an enviornment of love and joy. Marc her husband works hard to provide for his family, he is generous with his time and is always willing to help others. I am so grateful they have each other.

Kiley is working on her Masters at BYU, she works hard and pushes herself daily. I love watching her as she comes upon a challenge...she can be a force to be reckon with...I just try to stay out of her way! As a little girl she always wanted to do better and be better. I can't wait to see what the next few months will bring. Kiley is currently looking for a job, whoever hires her will be fortunate to have a great employee.

Ashley has always beent he adventurous one...I learned quickly not to say no to her because she would find a way to do it no matter what the cost. She could find joy in what ever circumstance she was in, and she would try to help others she her joy. Ashley is currently serving a mission in Cleveland, Ohio she serves part-time in the Church Historial sites.

Matthew...what can I say bringing him into the world was a challenge...once he was here he made our family complete. He is a good son and strives to do what is right, he is currently preparing himself to serve a mission and he is playing golf for BYUH, he has a great life living in Hawaii playing golf everyday. Most people work thier whole life to retire and play golf, Matthew goes to college and lives a dream at 18.

This week I want my family to know how much I love them, they are my reason for living...they inspire to be better, they are my heros!

Now if I could figure out how to post pictures, there would be some...I will figure this out soon.

I am on the WEB!!!

Thanks to my daughter Kiley I now have a blog. I am not sure what to say or do but I will figure this out. I can't wait to post pictures of my family whom I love more than life!

We seem to be a globe trotting family at the moment, not the kind with a basketball, we are just all over the globe. Ashley is in Ohio serving a mission, Matthew is in Hawaii going to school and playing golf, in his first tournament he placed 3rd! Go Matthew!! Kiley is in Utah for the moment, she just returned from Belise and will be going to Minnesota some time in the future. Tarin, Marc and the babes (who are the cutest things ever) are here in Bako with Rob and I.
